Inspired by the beaches of Cape Cod, Massachusetts,
I spent many summer vacations on Cape Cod with my family and loved going to the beach. I especially loved Old Silver Beach in Falmouth, MA because the tide would recede way out. The beach is located on Buzzards Bay and is a favorite New England beach. I always thought is was so cool to "walk on the ocean" with my sisters and mother. The original painting was created in 2014 after my mother passed away from Alzheimers. I needed something calming and peaceful to reduce a lot of the stress from the previous years that my family went through.
"The shores of Old Silver Beach are nice and sandy. And if you look closely, you’ll be amazed by the marine life along the water. Search for barnacles and periwinkles on the rock jetties, and watch for silvery fish swimming in the shallow waters.

I have always loved making art and creating. It's been such a great way to express myself as well as connect to a higher world of limitless possibilities. I prefer creating unencumbered by "rules" and create what I feel wants to be made. I've been mostly inspired by nature and the coast and my many visits to Cape Cod.
